A graphic design graduate from the University for the Creative Arts, Laura Heckford’s toneless line drawings appear youthfully spontaneous, yet her explorative approach to art production reveals an unrivalled wisdom and visual perceptiveness. Heckford’s extensive history working in textile print transpires through her illustrations which focus predominantly on shape over depth and often two-dimensional pattern.
