“I see myself as a conceptual artist who tells a fairytale story with a dark fantasy twist,” says couture designer Jay Briggs who graduated from the University of Salford and has interned with the likes of Piers Atkinson and Alex Noble. Spring / Summer 2014 is an empowering dominatrix take on the Elizabethan era through intricately hand-crafted garments using taxidermy Elytra jewels, beetle wings and goose feathers.
