Artistry visionary and Argentinian-born Aitor Throup is fascinated with illustration and creates designs dictated by forms – an aesthetic of process and not of product, where fashion happens to be the outcome. Throup’s previously collaborated and rebranded Stone Island and Umbro, as well as directing and establishing Gorillaz music video aesthetic.

His presence on the music scene continues, directing the visuals surrounding Damon Albarn’s solo album ‘Everyday Robots’. A facial reconstruction stop-motion film of Albarn’s anatomy. Technology vs. sculpture, an ‘individual statement on the loss of individuality through technology’.

Damon Albarn’s ‘Everyday Robots’ music video directed by Aitor Throup can be watched here.
