Javier Reyes designs fashion for confident women with a desire for timeless elegance and high-quality craftsmanship – think exquisite silks, luxurious knits and fine cottons. A sense of individuality worth preserving is key for the Mexican-born designer who, after stints in New York and Los Angeles, decided to settle in Bern, Switzerland, in 1997 and launched his eponymous label the year after. His Spring / Summer 2014 collection – recently launched as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Zurich – is once again testament to his signature mixture of Mexican temperament and Swiss manufacturing precision.
