Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman, both with a background in fine arts, showcased a rather comedic presentation for their label Fyodor Golan during London Fashion Week A/W15. The garments all had clean cuts, geometric silhouettes and a sportswear feel with a generous use of colour, from pops of green to yellow and pink. Yellow faux fur jackets to pleated, panelled and pocketed purple dresses made their way down the runway. Shiny patent leather A-line skirts paired with turtleneck sweaters, along with oversized structure collared shirts, made this collection pop. However, what really took the cake was not just the wonderful mix and match of textures, nor those buttery soft looking bright lime green leather gloves, but that Fyodor Golan had partnered up with ‘My Little Pony.’ Many, if not most, of the garments were embellished with purple-haired pony monograms.
