An obsession with ’70s computer style and African layering is apparent inGivenchy‘s Spring / Summer 2014 men’s collection. Riccardo Tisci brings a structured chaos with this set, combining Aztec-esque prints that consist of boomboxes, dominos and tribal faces – an odd mix that surprisingly works with the clean tailoring creating a controlled disorder of a collection.

Tribal make-up echoes the brass prints featured on the garments, with a multitude of hemlines on show, with leggings under shorts over parka coats it really is a lot to take in. The occasional break in print is welcome with a white coat or tonal T-shirt, giving the eye a chance to relax and time to take in the colossal amount of print on display.

A nerd infested collection of prints make the models look like they stepped straight out of an arcade game and, with the casting consisting of masculine and sculpted males, they look ready to conquer.
