Finnish label Siloa&Mook is all about opposites: hard and soft, smooth and rough, light and dark. Siloa&Mook rely strongly on classic lines and designs that are revised with unexpected details such as strong cuts and bold patterns. This philosophy comes alive in their Autumn/ Winter 2013 collection – both eccentric and edgy with sculptural silhouettes, vibrant colors and heavy, structured materials. The colour palette consists of burgundy and different shades of blue, brightened up by the use of white.

The talented designers behind the label are Laura Juslin-Pallasmaa and Julia Petley-Jones. The beautiful prints for their AW13 collection were designed by this year’s Hyéres winner Satu Maaranen. Their collections are primarily produced in Italy and Estonia.
