An empowering concrete facade set the stage for Y/Project’s catwalk show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week Autumn / Winter 2014. The label’s ethos is to pioneer an avant-garde spirit in contemporary men’s wardrobes with newly appointed Glenn Martens also branching out into womenswear design to spread the love.

Strikingly pale models towered the concrete cave, as though they were about to relapse at any moment. An uneasy and powerfully moving atmosphere filled the space, courtesy of the classical renaissance music. The collection itself featured heightened collars, elongated structures, sophisticated slits, laser-cut leather and impeccable tailoring. A faultless display of innovation and technical grandeur.
