If you’re going to Anja Gockel, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair. So did the models presenting her Spring / Summer 2014 collection. Looks for strong women – tempting, expressive, independent. A mix of materials and colours underlines the diversity of the woman the designer has in mind.
An eccentric dance as the opening of the show. Models walking with force and conviction. Cropped shirts, tight trousers and skirts followed by robes were the key items in the collection titled FRIDA. Floral prints and stripes matched the muted colours and bright tones like turquoise and red. Most striking were the flower-clips included in the models’ hair. Somewhere between cool and feminine, Anja Gockel remains true to her own design aesthetics.
