Created in 2001 by St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design graduate Alena Akhmadullina, the self-named brand has become a phenomenon in the world of Russian Fashion design. The label has won numerous prestigious awards since starting up, including the Glamour Women of the Year award in 2006. As well as presenting two high-fashion collections a year, Alena Akhmadullina created costumes for the Russian Olympic team in 2008.
