Fashion film is a form of creative communication brought together by this ever expanding artistic industry. How can we show and express, not just through looking, but through sound, colour, movement and vision? A Shaded View On Fashion Film (ASVOFF) holds the prestigious platform for representing new talent in the fashion film industry, but also featuring established practitioners accountable for their input to this creative area.

With events and screenings in some of the most well known cities in the world such as New York, London, Tokyo, Milan, Moscow and Mexico City, ASVOFF allows its participants to demonstrate their skills and creative outlook to industry professionals. Their next screening will be held at Cannes Film festivalon the 19th of May, demonstrating fresh and inspiring new videos from filmmakers and photographers such as Mike Figgis, Ellen Von Unwerth, Bettina Rheims and Bryan Adams.

The images here are just a sneak preview of the variety of imagery that will be presented in the screening, so far we can see colour, character and a selection of decades. Not forgetting the handful of well-known iconic actors, actresses and models that will be featured throughout the presentation.
