Dietrich Emter has been persuing a prestigious career in fashion. Beginning with an internship at Chloé followed by an assistant position with Nicholas Ghesquière at Balenciaga and graduating to holding the position of junior designer with Isabel Marant, Emter has developed a signature of sophisticated and often ladylike style. Founding his own label in 2011, Emter has enjoyed his reputation for creating impeccably cut garments out of high-quality fabrics.

Emter’s AW13 collection mixes 1950s inspired gloves and tailoring with a modern use of textures. Animal skin prints and opulent bright orange and forest green fur collars feature in the collection, as well as mixed fabrics and textures. Pastel touches are used to lift an otherwise neutral palette. Emter also experiments with free flowing garments, developing the oversize coat of AW12 into a billowing printed cape.
