Murmur Take Away – Autumn / Winter 2013
The concept behind the Murmur brand is to integrate lingerie into womenswear. Starting with SS13, Murmur launched the diffusion labelMurmur Take Away. The garments are carefully designed to fit into the label’s ideology. Murmur Take Away is based on affordable, easy-to-wear, comfortable materials. Items of lingerie and perforation have become defining elements of the brand, and the Take Away collection transforms them into ready-to-wear garments. Soft fabrics, whites and pastels are blended in with corsets and under-the-knee socks, along with patterns and pearled accessories. The looks overall are reminiscent of a modern day Lolita.
