Attending New York’s Parsons The New School for Design and the Paris Istituto Marangoni, Christina Economou was able to find her signature aesthetic and feeling retracing her steps back to her home in Athens. Her bold, rich colours and light textures are simultaneously effortless, ageless and timeless. After winning the 2011 ‘International Award’ at Graduate Fashion Week London, she went on to work as a Greek correspondent for Paris Vogue, amongst other things. In 2013 she launched her own line using printed silks and fabrics, all reminiscent of her heritage.
