The ideas behind Tania Choi’s elaborate pieces are both personal and universal. The visuals of the collection by the London College of Fashion graduate all stem from the fact that, as human beings, we each have multiple identities. It’s that contrast between external and internal selves that appealed to Choi, and how that juxtaposition affects one’s way of dressing. Clothes then become a form of armour to mask, protect and express an inner vulnerability.
