‘Mildred – a fashionable children’s tale for grown ups’ Front Cover

Fashion designer and illustrator David Longshaw launched his debut book Mildred – A fashionable children’s tale for grown-ups in May this year. The book features the fictional fabric mouse Maude and was created in response to the demand for more drawings and characters just like him. Maude introduces Mildred – a penguin who sees people as dresses – and follows her as she discovers her own sense of style.

Longshaw’s quirky characters are then perpetuated in his womenswear collections and animations for various publications. The Central Saint Martins and Royal College of Art graduate has by now become renowned for his illustrations as much as for his designs.

Mildred – A fashionable children’s tale for grown-ups is available as an e-Book on Amazon now, as well as in print.
