The name Megan Ruth St Clair Morgan, better known on social media as MRSCMILLO has become synonymous with quick lines, spontaneous strokes of color, and drawings that depict the clothes so well yet still manage leave a lot to the imagination. It’s not easy to pin this one down, as she is constantly running from one fashion week to the next, but we manage to catch up to reminisce about Paris Fashion Week and her thoughts on Illustration.
How are you today, Megan?
I’m not too bad, it’s been really busy at the moment so I’m trying to take a break…
What’s your favorite thing about Paris?
Paris is just fantastic. Last season was my first time in Paris and what an experience. I do have to say the food may be my favorite thing apart from the style. Everyone knows how to dress, its really refreshing and makes me feel very uneasy about my choice of clothing as they’re all so elegant and ladylike.
Did you have any highlight shows from Paris Fashion Week?
I loved Moon Young Hee. The collection was just the perfect mix of interesting silhouettes and sleek elegance. It’s one of my favourite womenswear collections I’ve ever seen.
Did any designer from PFW surprise you in any way this season?
I wouldn’t say surprised but I thought A F Vandevorst was interesting and the production of the show was fantastic, there was a live band being spray painted and everyone had to wear masks and shoe covers… Seeing posh ladies in their heels putting on plastic shoe covers is a sight to say the least!
