The 8th day of Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam offered something for everyone. From a futuristic start to luxurious and minimalistic collections, it finished by showcasing the best new talent.

Noir Near Future presented the unlikely combination of futuristic, the 1940’s and obscure colour blend to reach an impressive collection.

Army of Me showcased their new ready-to-wear collection in the Gashouder. It was clear to see why Army of Me gained such a huge following in the past six years.

During Vodafone Fashion LAB, Zyanya Keizer exhibited her designs. Her collection embodied detail, the female silhouette and art.

Back at the Gashouder, NIVEA Black & White Deodorant presented TONYCOHEN, a collection by Tony Cohen. The pairing of luxurious fabrics with perfect finishing made the collection distinctive.

Men’s clothing line Futura made their catwalk debut hosted by the Vodafone Fashion LAB. The result was a polished and minimalistic collection.

Lichting 2015 supported by V&D showcased the work of Dutch talent. Seven fashion colleges each unveiled two of their best students during an inspiring catwalk show. Nikki Duijst, student of the Hoge School der Kunsten in The Hague, was crowned this year’s winner. Nikki’s signature striped collection impressed the international jury of fashion professionals, which included DASH’s own editor-in-chief NoéMie Schwaller.

Finally, as part of Zalando presents 10 Days Downtown, Roest played host to Avondmarkt: Streetflavour. This event presented the very best of the street in the form of street wear, street food and street art. One of the many highlights of the night was the live fashion performance by designer Mirte van Wijngaarden.
