Berlin-based Polish-born designer Dawid Tomaszewski’s two lines, ‘New Couture’ and ‘Studio’, clearly demonstrated his susceptibility to fashion and the needs of modern women at FashionPhilosophy – Fashion Week Poland.
Models presenting poetic, yet strong garments paraded down the catwalk and assembled on elevated platforms in its centre, which beautifully tied in with Tomaszewski’s vision of strong, assertive individuals. Disheveled buns and light make-up with colour accents complemented his bold looks resulting in a strong collection. Quilting, feathery layers, embroidery, silky fabrics and midnight black, accessorised with handbags, purses and few statement pieces, perfectly demonstrated his ability to effortlessly combine couture with ready-to-wear.
