After a rather heavy Autumn / Winter 2015 collection, Portuguese Pedro Pedro has created surprisingly soft and feminine summer 2016 looks 2016 intended for a woman contrasting the one from last season. Monochrome or black or white only, it’s all about prints, silhouettes and flowing fabrics rather than colours and bold shoulders. Materials such as satin, silk jersey and cotton combined with mesh and abstract lace patterns enforce an unfinished, casual yet still sophisticated look, which is topped off with an ever fundamental piece: the shoes. With irregular embroidery, handmade braids with fabric strips and coming in all sort of colours they suggest a volitional imperfection of the elegant and sinuous summer looks as shown at ModaLisboa.
