“I want it to be soft” is the title of Bas Kosters’ upcoming retrospective exhibition at Museum Arnhem in Holland. Nest to fashion the exhibition shows a selection of illustrations, archive, new work and two series from 2015. Videos made over the years will play on old-fashioned televisions in the landscape of fashion and textile supported by a soundscape of his own music. Drawing is making up for an important part of the work of Bas nowadays, with the work of his studio becoming more diverse and fluid. Drawing and illustration also play an important role in the collaborations he engages in, as in his weekly column for DASH Online.

Thirteen years of explosive work are brought together from a contemporary perspective. New links can be made, unseen treasures put to the front. Go see!

The exhibition runs until September 4th 2016.
