The extensive sports heritage of Scottish knitwear brand Pringle of Scotland was evidently a key influence for their Spring / Summer 2015 menswear collection. Shown in three shows over London Collections: Men, the new set of looks resembled those produced by the company in the 1960s and ’80s, but with a modern-day twist in the form of new stitching and 3D printing technology.

A muted colour palette of blue, black, grey and green gave way for occasional pops of orange – a key colour in this year’s menswear collections – and made the British Tattersall check a fundamental element of many outfits. The cleverly selected venue of Two Temple Place also reflected the aesthetic of the collection, with strikingly similar floral prints on both the wallpaper and the final look.
