Satu Maaranen graduated from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2013 and currently works a freelance fashion designer in Helsinki. Her career was famously kickstarted by winning the first prize at the Hyères Fashion Festival in 2013. Her Autumn/ Winter 2014 beautifully retains and builds on the style that Hyères had fallen for with surrealist prints complementing bubbly shapes of impressive volume.
