Cassandra Verity Green is a fresh London-based designer, specialising in knitwear and accessories. She has a very personal approach when it comes to her creations, takes inspirations in personal experiences she had or in memories. She also finds inspiration in whatever emotion she might be feeling at the moment of creation. Graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2013 she’s been published in fashion’s most famous magazines like Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D and Dazed & Confused.
Cassandra’s Spring / Summer 2015 collection ‘Back to the Future’ is full of very unique pieces, bringing youthfulness and freshness to the scene. The colour palette, with a mix of white, pink, orange, turquoise and red, is very bright and featured boldly on pieces both provocative and feminine. Her Spring / Summer 2014 ‘Neptune’s Daughter’ has an underwater theme with colours ranging from the aquatics green, white and blue to red and purple, while the textures are equally varied. A particular piece catches the attention: a see-through backpack filled with water and a goldfish. Her original, provocative and out-of-the-box designs are a definite must-see.
