While at Lisbon Legacy Fashion Week, DASH stayed in its five star partner hotel the Dom Pedro Palace Lisboa. One of five of the marque throughout Portugal, Lisbon’s boasts a grandiose view over the city and location close to the airport, thus making it ideal for business meetings and conferences. Considering this, wi-fi incurring an extra cost comes as a surprise.

Furnished in a classic if not slightly cheesy style, it supplies traditional chic comfort. Should your feet and body hurt from strenuous running and waiting around for the shows, I can highly recommend swapping any strains and pains to gains at the in-house SPA Aquae. One of the 90 minute full-body massages with almond and mixed aromatherapeutic oils will leave you relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to absorb more fashion input while wearing your flamboyant looks. I could not have enjoyed more the Ayurvedic massage, whose result leaves you in a state of calmness and comfort. In case your legs can cope with some more effort, the spa also includes a small gym to sweat in and provides, for a further small, yet unnecessary fee (unless you stay in a Tower room or Suite), access to a sauna, jacuzzi and small chromotherapeutic pool – quite a treat.

If all that pampering leaves you peckish, I suggest digging into the breakfast buffet rather than the à la carte lunch served in the same Bistrot Le Café. It’s generous, full of variety and the help-yourself set-up avoids any disappointment of not getting what you’ve ordered – a range of international newspapers are also at hand. Try the traditional Pastéis de Nata or order some via room service for a midnight snack while typing away about the countless shows and fashionable happenings at Moda Lisboa Legacy.
