Art meets Asia. Laurèl combined Far Eastern inspiration with paintings in its Spring / Summer 2014 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

The highlight? An abstract print influenced by artist Jo Netzko, who is designer Elisabeth Schwaiger’s husband. The bright colours are also taken from his paintings – fuchsia, pink, green, violet, turquoise, orange.

The Asian inspiration can be found in the cuts. Kimono dresses, tunics and egg-shaped blouses reveal an Eastern touch, manufactured of high-quality silk and sequins. With a cellist, colourful prints and flowing silhouettes, Laurèl takes us to Asia.
