Boris Bidjan Saberi’s Spring / Summer 2015 collection, Symbiosism, revolved around leather. Each piece produced by the designer himself, leathers ranging from horse to kangaroo were integrated into his designs alongside cashmeres, cottons and knits in various shades of neutral. Inspired by the military, moulded leather was transformed into large backpacks and skin-tight headwear, giving the models a consistent, uniform image.

Leather harnesses and straps continued the military theme, as layering became a strong element of the collection, conceptually representing muscle tissues and organic structures. A collaboration with Muñoz Vrandecic was formed to create the leather hats and perforated leather boots adorning the models’ feet, highlighting the focus on practicality and refined finish.
