Held outside at Place Baudoyer, Paris, Henrik Vibskov’s Spring / Summer 2015 collection, ‘The Sticky Brick Fingers’, was a performance in itself, taking advantage of his background as a visual artist to create an exciting installation atmosphere. Ten dancers from the Norwegian National Ballet splashed through a pool of shallow water, performing stunningly beautiful yet mildly distracting choreography by Swedish Alexander Ekman.

The clothes themselves lived up to Vibskov’s reputation, combining his signature eccentricity with modern wearability. 3D faces popping out of rounded oversized jumpers and a reoccurring ‘Sticky Brick Fingers’ motif were key points of the collection, standing out from the strong colour palette of orange, mint, blue and clinical whites. Tall, bold hats and neoprene water shoes ensured that the accessories were not forgotten about, and gave his collection a uniformity that brought together the many peculiarities.
