Their slogan ‘minimalistic fashion with gender blurring aesthetic’ perfectly summarises the direction of this contemporary Swedish label. The brand aims to challenge typical male stereotype with clothing, and widen the possibilities of the male wardrobe. Launched in the spring of 2012 by young designer Anna Sjunnesson, MLTV is inspired by contradictions, opposites and juxtapositions. Anna strives to break down the boundaries of society’s tightly woven gender roles by creating good quality, sustainable, durable and androgynous looking garments. With architectural lines, soft clean cuts and contradictory fabrics, the MLTV Spring / Summer 2015 collection does not lose what it stands for. Entitled ‘Episode Six’ the garments are created with lighter materials and geometric shapes. The garments highlight and interact with the male form perfectly.
