Maiko Takeda is a former Central Saint Martins Jewellery Design student and has undergone a Millinery Masters at The Royal College of Arts. Maiko Takeda was raised during the epic growth of Tokyo, showing through her ingeniously innovating design, which plays with forms, shadows and transitions, creating sheer futurism. Takeda’s work features in the SHOWstudio: Royal College of Art 2013 graduate fashion film directed by DASH contributor Marlon Rueberg, which beautifully encapsulates her ‘Atmospheric Reentry’ 2013 Collection.
