Rick Lee Autumn / Winter 2015
Milan-based designer Rick Lee graduated with an MA in Fashion Design from Domus Academy in the centre of Milan, Italy. After working with prestigious Italian fashion houses, he decided it was time to launch his own line, which he showcased first in Milan and then in Zurich. His Autumn / Winter 2015 collection titled ‘Color Upon The Light’ was taken from his great inspiration of Art Nouveau. ‘I wanted to convey a new translation of the pursuit of beauty through colour and decorative art. In the collection I have embraced tiffany lamp shapes and forms in the details of the silhouette; decorative stained glass windows and mosaics motifs.” His garments embody true Italian style; the lines are sleek, the colours are perfectly blocked, and the patterns reminiscent of the Duomo’s stained glass windows.
