Yasya Minochkina Spring / Summer 2014
Yasya Minochkina‘s line mixes minimalist shapes with interesting textures such as embossing, weaving of metallic fibres and creating a grid pattern out of superimposed black thread on white fabric. Her collections are infused with a sportswear aesthetic, bringing to mind tennis, weight-lifting and sailing in a most sophisticated manner. After graduating from London’s Central Saint Martins, the Ukrainian designer launched her brand in 2012. She recently presented her Autumn / Winter 2014 collection at London Fashion Week.
