Based in Sydney, Australia, Tara Gurisik is a menswear designer with a degree from Sydney’s University of Technology. Her refreshing designs are a composition of contemporary shapes and a display of colourful printing. Her latest collection ‘Leisure Seven’ for Spring / Summer focuses on traditional Japanese colours and textiles. The collection was designed with the aim to combine a sporty look with streetwear. Influenced by the Japanese art Ukiyo-e, the designs present digital manipulations of traditional artistic practices.
